Plant upgrade for new Impactor, Tertiary Crusher, Feed bin & Switch Room support stand.

This project was a good example of QMM’s niche capability to perform upgrades of existing Brownfield sites.

The scope of work included:

• Dismantling of old equipment including a vertical shaft impact crusher and cone crusher
• Design, fabrication and installation of sub frames with feed and discharge chutes for two replacement crushers
• Installation of new OEM supplied crushers
• New platforms, walkways and guarding
• Base frame for a new Switch Control Building
• Various modifications to existing conveyors and other installation works

The project was completed on time, on budget and without incident.
