Forefront fabricates steel and poly products in our own workshops and provides professional on-site installation for mining, quarrying, industrial, agricultural and infrastructure clients across Australia.

Because we manage every stage of the project, from engineering and drafting through to fabrication, installation and commissioning, you have a single point of contact throughout. Fabricated items are built with installation in mind, then installed and erected by our own crews.

Our Capabilities

We fabricate steel and poly products for new projects and existing plant, and install them with our own crews.

Structural & Miscellaneous Steelwork

We deliver large-scale structural and mechanical fabrication for mining and industrial projects. This includes structural steel, platforms, walkways, handrails, brackets, chutes, hoppers and miscellaneous steelwork, fabricated in our workshops and installed and erected on site by our own crews.

Plant & Mechanical Fabrication

We fabricate plant components and mechanical items for processing plants, along with piping fabrication, including spools and supports. Our work covers both new projects and modifications to existing plant, with engineering and detailed drafting provided in-house or through our engineering partners.

Mining & Quarry Fabrication

We fabricate secondary break products for block, panel and sub-level underground mining applications, along with crusher installations, materials handling systems and picking stations. We also supply replacement parts, carry out chute and liner repairs, and modify steelwork on existing plant.

Shutdown Pre-Fabrication

Shutdown windows are tight, so we pre-fabricate ahead of time. Parts are ready before your plant goes offline, which means less work needs to be done on site and the shutdown can focus on installation.

Poly & HDPE Fabrication

We are specialist poly fabricators. We design, source, fabricate and install HDPE, PE100 and polypropylene pipework, fabricated poly fittings, sumps and tanks, and valves and fittings. Applications include dewatering systems, mine construction pipework and HDPE electrical conduit.

Poly Welding, in the Workshop or on Site

Using our own fleet of poly welding and pipe-handling equipment, we can carry out poly work in our workshop or directly on your site. We offer butt fusion, electrofusion and extrusion welding to suit the pipework and application.

Emergency & Breakdown Support

When urgent repairs or replacement parts are needed, we provide emergency response with fast turnaround to get your operation running again.
